Description: An ECOMERICAT system contacts the spent caustic with a slipstream of sweetened gasoline containing CO2 whereby neutralizing the spent caustic, springing the phenols, absorbing the phenols into the sweetened gasoline yielding neutral brine with minimal phenolic content.
